About the role: As a Principal Network Engineer, you will oversee the operational aspects of the network. We ask that you have a strong understanding of LAN/WAN environments and will be the operational lead for the team. The Principal Engineer will ensure the network's reliability, performance, and security, while also improving programs. You will report to the Manager, Network Services. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Network Operations team in managing and maintaining the network infrastructure. Ensure the stability and performance of LAN/WAN environments. Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Collaborate with teams to support network-related projects. Monitor network performance and implement improvements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Ensure appropriate escalation and response to priority incidents Ensure redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place, coaching the team where needed Perform any other related tasks prioritized by the Network Services Manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in IT or related fields, or equivalent experience and certifications 5+ years' experience High-level understanding or subject matter expert in SDWAN and routing Experience in network operations, with an understanding of LAN/WAN environments. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE). We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
