HOURLY WAGE RANGE: Starting at $18.65/Hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to manage all receptionist and clerical tasks at our lodging building. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression. Our Front Desk Agents deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring all needs and expectations are met and exceeded. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional guest service
  • Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting
  • Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries
  • Respond promptly to guest requests
  • Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email
  • Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary
  • Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports
  • Assist with snow shoveling in the front desk area as needed
  • Maintain lobby coffee service
  • Assist in mailroom operations
  • Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean
  • Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to work independently without supervision
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with office suites and the ability to learn new software
  • Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record
