The FIU Institute of Environment is seeking applications for multiple Postdoctoral Associate positions in fields of study relevant to Freshwater, Coastlines, Oceans and Conservation research. The FIU Institute Environment is advancing the science and technology needed to address complex water and environmental issues locally, nationally and globally. The Institute supports interdisciplinary research, active learning, and public engagement by linking top scientists with thought-leaders and business professionals, as well as local, state, and federal collaborators to foster environmental sustainability. The primary responsibilities of Institute Postdoctoral Associate vary depending on the project and the individual's interests but may include: conducting research with faculty mentors, interacting with graduate students, submitting competitive research proposals, and participating in outreach efforts. Postdoctoral Associates may also teach formal courses in some cases. Screening of applications will occur as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.
