BGS is seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team. This individual will assist in the design and management of cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.

Responsibilities:

• This individual will work with our customers to deliver cloud environments that meet their mission needs.
• This person will be customer facing and work on proposals to win new work and will also help deliver solutions as needed for customers.
• Assist in the design and management of cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
• Define patterns and best practices for design, engineering, and development of cloud environments.
• Crafting cost optimized app deployment patterns for cloud. Influence product and delivery requirements, roadmaps, and vision.
• Designing identity, governance, and monitoring solutions for cloud environments.
• Assist clients with cloud migrations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience with deploying to platforms:
  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Network, Storage, and Backup.
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
• 15+ years' experience.
• 6+ years of architecture design and implementation experience, with basic certifications in Azure.
• Must possess a cloud and security certification in:
  1. Microsoft.
  2. Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  3. Google.
  4. International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2).
  5. Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Successful drug screening.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Solutions Architect Certification.
• Preferred Q Clearance.

Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $165,000 and $225,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
