Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Perform electrical installations, wiring, and component assembly according to engineering drawings, schematics, process sheets, and written instructions.
  • Assemble, route, and secure wiring harnesses, electrical panels, switches, relays, and other electrical components required for bus manufacturing.
  • Conduct continuity checks, basic electrical testing, and verification of completed electrical assemblies to ensure proper function and compliance with quality standards.
  • Follow established work instructions to install electrical systems safely and accurately within designated work areas and job classifications.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency when performing wire terminations, crimping, labeling, bundling, and other detailed electrical assembly tasks.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical tools (such as multimeters, crimpers, and strippers) to perform daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with production team members, engineering, and quality staff to resolve assembly issues and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and PPE guidelines.
  • Identify and report any defective parts, wiring issues, or safety concerns to supervision promptly.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in electrical assembly preferred
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team

Hourly Wage Rate: $23.62/hr

Standard Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
