Institutional Trust Team Leader

The principle accountability of this position is to manage the operational functions of an Institutional Trust business unit responsible for the delivery of services such as trustee, custody, pension services, and cash management. In this role you will maintain key performance measurements to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met while administering the employee performance management process for direct reports and managing to established departmental goals.

Position Responsibilities:

Leadership/Management



  • Interacts with Alt Group Manager, direct reports and others to establish priorities, coordinate workflow and review results
  • Manage and develop a team of Trust Account Specialists, Account Analysts and Senior Analysts
  • Evaluates and adjusts workloads to ensure maximum efficiencies
  • Develop tactical plans, process improvements, and product enhancements
  • Foster teamwork by maintaining a positive attitude and supportive demeanor


Risk Management/Operating Efficiency/Compliance



  • Ensure successful audit and compliance exams by monitoring the use of appropriate processing procedures and compliance with policies
  • Review and update changes to procedures and policies as appropriate
  • Monitor and review existing process controls
  • Identify areas of risk
  • Recommend and implement improvements to controls
  • Participate on team projects for timely and accurate completion
  • Coordinate workflow to provide optimum efficiency and productivity and ensuring effective service quality standards are met


Customer Service/Quality/Retention



  • Provide technical guidance and direction to Account Analysts and Account Specialists on complex operational client issues
  • Ensure support staff provides the highest quality client service by achieving key performance goals


Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 or more years Security Industry experience

Work Best Category: Category B - 3-4 days in office on designated days/1-2 days remote Hours: 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday for 8 hour shifts and must be in the office two days a week. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
