Academic Faculty Positions in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) The Fetal and Neonatal Institute and the Division of Neonatology of the Department of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Keck School of Medicine at USC are seeking candidates for 3 full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant level on the clinical-educator track. This position are clinically focused and in addition to contributing to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education, the successful candidates will provide clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV state-of-the-art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and in one of our four communities based NICUs. The Fetal and Neonatal Institute consists of the CHLA Division of Neonatal Medicine and the CHLA-USC Maternal Fetal Center. The Division has currently 23 faculty. Fellows from the LAC-USC Neonatal-Perinatal program rotate in the CHLA NICU. The CHLA-USC Maternal-Fetal Center is one of the largest fetal diagnosis and fetal intervention center in the nation. Requirements: Must hold MD or DO degree Board certified in Pediatrics Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Desirable qualifications: Clinical experience in clinical neonatology Strength in teaching Experience in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills Ability to work in a complex, high-intensity academic environment The annual base salary range for this position is $95,904-$325,715.
