SUMMARY Repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling system, and automated lubrication system by performing the following duties. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This job reports directly to a supervisor. Evaluation Required Written Machine Tool Repair Skill Assessment (40 questions) 80% is passing. Practical Exam upon successful completion of the Written Skills Assessment. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The duties listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The successful applicant must be willing to work shift work and various shifts. No shift preference is guaranteed. Prefer knowledge of Lathe, Mills, Cut Off Saw and Drill Press equipment. Machining, Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience are a plus. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED and 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
