  • Interface with lighting manufacturer rep agencies, including requesting quotations, addressing shipment and material issues, submitting change orders, etc.
  • Work with the SYD warehouse to solve issues with material shipments (including damages, material discrepancies, etc.)
  • Work with the SYD finance department on vendor invoicing issues, credits, etc.
  • Periodic overtime may be necessary to complete daily workload during busier days.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
  • Attend all required internal SYD training and meetings.

Skills Needed:

  • Must be well-organized to successfully manage multiple ongoing lighting projects.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to meet unexpected or emergency requests for material purchase or delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including establishing solid working relationships with manufacturer rep agencies and electrical contractors.
  • Some math skills are required for purchase order creation (basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Basic proficiency in Excel.
  • Adhere to and support SYD values, which are "Integrity, Profitability, Accountability, and Teamwork."

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up-to 20lbs.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
