The Visual Replenishment Stockroom Administrator maintains and controls the Visual Replenishment cages to keep inventory levels of operational supplies and chemicals available to the assembly areas at both Lititz and Lancaster facilities. Perform daily blind cycle counts triggered by ACE classification to support an improved robust inventory control process for the Lititz facility.
Position Responsibilities: * Work with procurement representative to maintain stock in the Visual Replenishment (VR) Cage, tool cage, and associated areas. * Run monthly reports to check for expired items. * Discard expired items by proper disposal methods at the end of every month and update inventory stock in the ERP system. * Assist employees and dispense materials and chemicals needed from VR cage. * Perform monthly cycle counts on VR cages to ensure of inventory accuracy. * Review and initiate process improvements between facilities. * Ensure the process for replenishment in assembly areas is being followed by checking inventory levels in areas supported. * Perform cycle counts on daily, weekly, and monthly basis to support an improved cycle counting program. * Perform deep-dive root cause analysis for cycle counting discrepancies exceeding specific thresholds, while working with inventory leadership to attack processes that need reviewed and changed. * Performs other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization. Skills & Abilities: * Critical thinking and proactive mentality * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to comprehend work and process instructions, data sheets, standard measurements and ERP system * Demonstrates flexibility in juggling work priorities throughout the day, enjoys variety in daily functions * Customer service oriented and effective interpersonal and communication skills * Strong computer skills with the ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and focus * Fine manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance * Able to work with various chemicals and trained or willing to be trained in chemical spill clean-up Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent Work Environment: * Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus * 1st Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday through Thursday, Every other Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations. * 9/80 work schedule. * Office located in Lititz, PA | |
