The VP Sales Industrial Manufacturing will lead the company's sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth, mainly focussed on discrete manufacturing. This role is responsible for developing and managing a high-performance sales team focussed on net new sales, selling Infor's full portfolio of products / solutions. The VP Sales will work closely with the executive leadership team to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with business goals and objectives. This position requires a strategic leader with experience in exceeding sales targets, scaling sales operations, and driving customer success. A Typical Day in the Life Includes: Developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with Infor's business objectives and market opportunities. Leading, coaching, and managing a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. Establishing sales performance metrics and ensuring consistent tracking, reporting, and improvement of sales activities. Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to drive new business and renewals. Collaborating with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and improve customer satisfaction and retention. Basic Qualifications: Experience leading and managing sales teams, with a focus on net new sales. Experience in enterprise software sales into the industrial manufacturing sector, ideally discrete manufacturing. Experience developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals and market demands. Experience building and managing sales teams, including recruitment, training, and development. Experience with sales processes, metrics, and forecasting. Experience managing and growing accounts and relationships at the executive level. Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems (such as Salesforce or similar) for sales tracking and reporting. Travel extensively.
