Overview NaphCare is hiring Charge Registered Nurses (Charge RNs) to join our healthcare team at the Montgomery County Detention Center in Montgomery, Alabama! If you're an RN ready to take the next step in your career, this is an opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills while remaining actively involved in patient care. As a Charge RN, you'll help support the nursing team, coordinate care, and provide hands-on clinical services to a diverse patient population in a unique healthcare environment. Base Pay: $40.00/hour + Night Shift Differential As a Charge RN, you'll work alongside nurses, medical providers, and correctional professionals to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout your shift. You'll serve as a clinical resource for the nursing team while continuing to use your own assessment, critical-thinking, and emergency-response skills. Whether you already have leadership experience or are an experienced RN ready to grow into a stronger clinical leadership role, this is an opportunity to expand your skills and make a meaningful impact in correctional healthcare. *New grads are encouraged to apply - we'll train you in the exciting field of correctional healthcare! * Responsibilities As a Charge Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership and direct patient care while helping support the day-to-day delivery of healthcare services. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Providing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff during the assigned shift

Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
