Fidelity Technologies Corporation has an immediate Access Control (Guard) opening at its Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, WA location. As an Access Control Guard, you will grant or deny access to our secure facility based on various authentication factors and local military instructions. You will supervise the access control desk in addition to conducting foot patrols throughout the building at designated intervals, monitor alarm systems and CCTV. You shall deter and report any criminal activity or misconduct as specified in local policies and instructions. Valid (Secret) Security Clearance is required. Weekends, holidays, and overnights required. SPECIFIC DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Check personnel against authorized access roster(s) before, buzzing them through secure area access door. Restrict building access to only personnel listed on an approved access list. Issue authorized Visitor Badges and maintain badge issue log, as required. Directing visitors to proper event locations, offices, etc. Receiving parcel deliveries. Maintaining access logs, ensuring visitors sign in as appropriate. Retain Government provided security access lists/databases. Answering the telephone and responding to requests for information, transferring calls as appropriate, taking messages and posting same. Alerting base fire, medical or security departments, as directed or required. Notify base security and Building Manager of any suspected breach of security/access policies. Participate in fire drills, as required.
