About the Role The Senior AI & Business Enablement Partner, will collaborate with campus partners to identify opportunities, lead initiatives, and implement solutions that improve business processes, enhance decision-making, and advance operational excellence. This unique role combines technical project leadership, business analysis, process improvement, and organizational change management to help drive AI adoption and business transformation across the CU Anschutz campus. You'll serve as a trusted partner who bridges business and technology teams to deliver meaningful, sustainable outcomes. What You'll Do
Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI-enabled initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder communications, risk management, and progress tracking. Facilitate requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, business process analysis, and future-state design to define solutions and drive organizational outcomes. Analyze current and future-state workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and operational improvement. Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate operational needs into technology-enabled solutions and actionable project outcomes. Assess organizational impacts and develop change management, communication, training, and adoption strategies that support successful implementation. Build strong partnerships with faculty, staff, vendors, and technology teams to advance transformational initiatives across campus. Promote the responsible and effective use of AI and emerging technologies to deliver measurable business value.

Hybrid - This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment. AMC ISS strives for a high-flex work environment, meaning although this role may predominately be executed effectively with a remote schedule, there may be instances where in-person meetings and/or activities are needed. There is no minimum or prescribed in-person requirement. The work schedule will be based around core working hours in Colorado Mountain Time. |

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Education, or a closely related field
Experience:
2+ years of experience leading projects and initiatives as a project manager, project lead, or similar role. 1-2 years of experience supporting business analysis efforts through requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder engagement, and workflow analysis. 1-2 years of experience working with or supporting AI technologies, workflow automation platforms, and digital solutions that enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in or supporting higher education, research administration, grants management, financial compliance, or technology-focused organizations. Experience leading complex projects involving business transformation, process improvement, organizational change, and technology implementation. Experience with business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, workflow automation platforms, enterprise applications, data governance, APIs, integration platforms, cloud services, and related technologies. Professional certification in project management, Agile methodologies, business analysis, or change management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, CSM, CSPO, CBAP, CCBA, Prosci).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including faculty, administrators, and technical teams. Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences. Strong facilitation skills for leading meetings, workshops, and cross-functional working sessions. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-informed mindset. Proven ability to manage projects successfully under various constraints using established project management methodologies and tools. Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, including current and future state process mapping. Knowledge of change management principles and the ability to develop and execute change plans that drive user adoption. Understanding of AI/ML concepts, automation technologies, and data architectures, with the ability to apply that knowledge to evaluating, scoping, and implementing AI-driven solutions for administrative business processes.

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $95,000 - $120,000. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
