As a Security Officer Correctional Facility Guard Tower in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Professional supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, assist with badge and visitor access, and support X-ray screening procedures while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of financial institution facilities, surrounding grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, assisting with access control and maintaining appropriate records.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
