As a Security Guard Entry Screening Officer in Edgerton, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and belongings in accordance with site policies, using screening equipment and established procedures to help deter unauthorized or prohibited items from entering the facility.
• Verify identification, access credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to designated areas.
• Respond to screening alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity, screening results, incidents, and unusual observations; conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
