Title: CNC Machinist - Industrial Manufacturing Location: Auburn, MA Pay: 32.00 -40.00 per hour based off experience / Competitive Benefits / PTO Position Type: Direct Hire Advantage Technical is hiring a CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity with an industrial machinery manufacturer in Auburn, MA. This role offers hands-on ownership of complex CNC and manual machining work for an experienced machinist ready to work independently. What You'll Do (Job Duties) Set up and operate CNC and manual turning and milling machine tools, machining product from blueprints, sketches, work instructions, and work procedures. Work independently to plan, lay out, set up, and operate CNC and manual machine tools. Proofread and edit CNC programs; set up, operate, and program G&M codes. Machine and inspect product to ensure conformance to specifications. Perform machining operations including milling, turning, facing, drilling, reaming, threading, tapping, deburring, and product assembly. Perform basic machine maintenance as instructed. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and practices. Collaborate with the team to support department and company goals. Work overtime as required. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring (Experience) 10+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist. CNC programming experience, including G&M codes. Advanced shop mathematics knowledge. Ability to read complex blueprints. Understanding of machining operation order and good manufacturing practices.
