About the Role This unique remote APC position combines clinical inbox management with telemedicine care. Providers review and manage patient messages, assess red-flag calls escalated from nurse triage, determine the appropriate level of care, and conduct acute care phone and video visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient inbox communications and clinical requests
  • Review escalated triage calls and make clinical care recommendations
  • Conduct telemedicine visits via phone and video
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff in a team-based environment
  • Provide safe and effective clinical decision-making remotely

Required Qualifications

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) or Physician Associate (NCCPA) certification
  • Active Oregon NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Oregon DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Reliable high-speed internet access
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Must live within the state of Oregon

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of clinical practice experience
  • Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
  • Confidence making clinical decisions during telephone visits
  • Experience with telemedicine and EMR systems

The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
