Coke Florida is looking for a Lead Fleet Technician based out of our Hollywood location. Working 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday.



What You Will Do:


As a Coke Florida Lead Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for scheduling and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on all company fleet assets. Lead fleet technicians assist in the scheduling, coaching, and development of other team members.



Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and daily operational guidance to team members to strengthen performance, ensure consistency, and support professional development
  • Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all company fleet assets


  • Coordinate and monitor department repair and employee work schedules.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all company fleet assets.
  • Conduct routine quality control evaluations of fleet vendors and technicians to ensure compliance with service standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and results.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and roadside breakdowns as needed
  • Performs preventative maintenance inspections and D.O.T. inspections using prescribed check lists along with identifying and reporting all unsafe conditions.


  • Follow, adhere to, and demonstrate all company safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Maintain, organize, and properly care for tools, equipment, and workspaces
  • Oversee procurement, management, and accurate tracking of inventory in alignment with company policies, procedures, and operational needs
  • Accurately maintain company maintenance records, service logs, and documentation


  • Serve as a reliable backup to the Fleet Supervisor, providing operational support and leadership coverage as needed



For this role, you will need:



  • 3+ years of technical experience on all company fleet assets.


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative as a self-starter
  • Preventative maintenance and repair of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment


  • Excellent demonstrated technical aptitude.


  • Provide and maintain personal hand tools appropriate for performing highquality mechanical duties
  • Basic Computer skills


  • Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years*


*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the Fleet Technician position.



Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:



  • Automotive/Mechanical Trade or Vocational certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of technical experience preferred.


  • Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred


  • ASE certification and CDL license or certification is highly preferred.
