Technical CLM Project Manager (Contract)



  • Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
  • Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite | Monday & Friday remote
  • Duration: through March 2027
  • Hours: 40 hours/week


Our client is seeking an experienced Technical CLM (Customer Lifecycle Marketing) Project Manager to join a high-performing Commercial Marketing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned technical project manager who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys driving complex marketing technology initiatives from planning through execution. You'll play a critical role in managing weekly customer lifecycle marketing campaign operations, supporting technical launches, and ensuring seamless collaboration across Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations.

What You'll Do


Own Weekly Campaign Operations (Approximately 60%)

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of weekly customer lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate audience transfers, campaign preparation, quality assurance, and campaign launches.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, Database Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to keep campaign timelines on track.
  • Facilitate weekly go/no-go meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned before campaign launches.
  • Monitor live campaigns, triage technical issues, identify likely root causes, and coordinate with the appropriate technical teams to drive resolution.


Create Technical Documentation & Training (Approximately 30%)

  • Develop documentation and enablement materials for new CLM capabilities and platform enhancements.
  • Deliver training through written guides, live sessions, and recorded walkthroughs for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help ensure cross-functional teams are equipped to successfully adopt new processes and tools.


Drive Team Operations (Approximately 10%)

  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risk tracking.
  • Maintain communication calendars and project documentation.
  • Organize recurring meetings, coordinate agendas, and distribute meeting notes and action items.


Required Qualifications



  • 7+ years of technical project or program management experience.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the product development and release lifecycle, including requirements gathering, QA coordination, and production launches.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues, performing initial root-cause analysis, and coordinating resolution across engineering and data teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM or customer lifecycle marketing platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Availability to support live campaign operations every Tuesday between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating technical documentation and training materials.
  • Familiarity with project management and workflow tools such as:


    • Jira & Confluence

    • Wrike
    • Smartsheet
    • Asana
    • Airtable
    • Monday.com
    • Microsoft Project


  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, Six Sigma, or ITIL are a plus.


Compensation

The target hiring compensation range for this role is up to $111.94 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
