This opportunity is based on a Machine Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read and interpret shop orders, production layouts, process control documents, and work instructions. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Manufacturing, machining, or technical training is a plus. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, including CNC machining or machine operation. Prior team lead, production lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Experience troubleshooting production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements. Ability to maintain high personal productivity while leading a team in a fast-paced production environment. Experience using hand tools, including drills, nail guns, screwdrivers, and tape measures. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for extended periods. Must be able to safely operate machinery, use hand tools, and inspect finished products. Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, including overtime as needed. Capable of performing quality inspections and monitoring production processes throughout the shift. Job Duties Lead and support production team members to achieve daily manufacturing goals while maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime. Promote a strong safety culture by following safety procedures, identifying hazards, and recommending improvements. Monitor production processes, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality. Verify finished door panels meet company quality standards and escalate defects or compliance concerns when necessary. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Train, coach, and retrain employees on equipment operation, production processes, safety practices, and quality expectations. Foster teamwork, employee engagement, and open communication while escalating questions, concerns, and recommendations to management. Serve as backup to the Production Manager by coordinating workflow, overseeing operations, and ensuring production continuity during absences.
