Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data and business systems? We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to provide purchasing and order support in a fast-paced business environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience with purchasing processes, vendor communication, data analysis, and ERP systems. Responsibilities * Accurately enter and maintain order, purchasing, and vendor information in company systems * Review and update order records to ensure data accuracy and completeness * Perform basic data analysis related to purchasing activity, open orders, and order status * Expedite orders by communicating with vendors regarding delivery schedules and updates * Follow up on order delays, product availability, and other vendor-related issues * Update and replace MRO items within internal systems as needed * Support EPO-related data entry and system maintenance * Provide customer service and support to internal stakeholders * Maintain professional communication with vendors and cross-functional teams * Assist with additional administrative and purchasing-related tasks as assigned Qualifications * Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, purchasing support, or customer service * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Experience using ERP systems is required * Ability to review data and identify discrepancies or missing information * Strong communication and follow-up skills * Comfortable interacting with vendors and internal teams * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Experience with MRO, EPO, or purchasing systems is a plus Top Skills * Data Entry * Data Analysis * Order Expediting & Vendor Follow-Up * ERP System Experience * Customer Service & Communication Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Northbrook, IL.
