Our 10-bed Women's Health Unit provides comprehensive care for pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. With more than 250 babies born each year, Franklin Hospital offers a unique opportunity to care for patients throughout their entire journey-from admission through labor and delivery to postpartum care and discharge. In our intimate, patient-centered environment, nurses build meaningful relationships with families while providing individualized, compassionate care every step of the way.

As an OB/GYN RN, you'll work alongside obstetric providers, pediatric clinicians, lactation consultants, and an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care. You'll assess patients, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist during labor and delivery, provide postpartum and newborn care, educate patients and families, and help ensure a safe and positive birth experience for every family you serve.

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level includes automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.
  3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
