Your Work Schedule and Shift Information

  • Currently hiring for night shift (7 pm to 7 am), but needs to be open to working off-shifts when needed.
  • 12-hour shifts (7 pm to 7 am)
  • Schedule Pattern:2-2-3 Schedule - on-shift for 2 days, off-shift for 2 days, on-shift 3 for days, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

As part of our manufacturing team, you will:

  • Unload raw material components from a trailer into the ASRS and maintain the HAACP inspection procedure and documentation.
  • Receive spice and properly mark the date of manufacture on each pallet, then store each pallet using FIFO (first in, first out).
  • Inspect proper start-up, shutdown, and sampling procedures for receiving bulk oils. Ensure the completion of HAACP and GMP's procedures and documentation. Responsible for executing oil spill procedures.
  • Properly inspect outbound trailers using HAACP inspection procedure and documentation. Followed by loading finished cubes to a product to truck order. Knowledgeable in the completion of the outbound order and the staging of finished cubes into the proper bay roll.
  • Deliver materials to the Operations as needed to support production.
  • Offload finished stretched wrapped cubes from the end of the conveying system and staging on the floor or on top of the same SKU cube (double stack). Able to change ribbon, label stock and stretch film when necessary.
  • Verify, unload, stage, and store inbound packaging materials consisting of corrugated, film pouch and other miscellaneous items into their proper locations.
  • Properly stage-packaging materials for the production floor according to the daily production schedule.
  • Capable of troubleshooting issues associated with the ASRS, labelers, Lantech stretch wrapper, conveying systems and Red Prairie equipment.
  • Ensure the delivery of UPS packages to the proper personnel. Also, capable of setting up UPS outbound shipments.
  • Load recycled totes, wooden pallets, and bailed scrap plastic or corrugated into the predetermined supplier's trailers.
  • Repackage damaged goods, as directed by the Distribution lead person or team leader.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Responsible for the cleaning of forklifts, conveying and stretch wrapping systems, racking and warehouse floor and dock area. Proficient in the operation of a floor scrubber.
  • Maintain forklift Certification in current status with good safety record and successful completion of all initial and re-certification testing. Assure that all vehicles are inspected on a daily basis.
  • Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory as requested by inventory analysis.
  • Receive and issue packaging materials utilizing Red Prairie system.
  • Complete additional work assignments as assigned by Team Leader.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
  • Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment - PPE) such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves (when required)
  • Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
  • Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
  • Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
