Surveillance Operator (Night Shift) - Onsite

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Duration: 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension


Schedule

Night Shift (5x8 Schedule)



  • Tuesday - Saturday
  • 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Weekend availability required

Position Overview

Seeking dependable and detail-oriented Surveillance Operators to support an Operations Center in Las Vegas. This is a fully onsite, desk-based monitoring role responsible for observing live video surveillance feeds, identifying suspicious or unsafe activity, and responding appropriately through audio intervention and incident escalation.

The role involves monitoring multiple properties nationwide using proprietary surveillance technology while coordinating with law enforcement, emergency responders, and property representatives as needed.

Please Note:



  • This is not a casino surveillance position.
  • This role is not located on the Las Vegas Strip.
  • Continuous computer-based monitoring in a fast-paced environment is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor multiple live video surveillance feeds simultaneously.
  • Identify unauthorized, suspicious, or unsafe activity in real time.
  • Issue live audio warnings when appropriate.
  • Contact law enforcement, first responders, or property contacts during active incidents.
  • Create accurate and detailed incident reports.
  • Navigate multiple monitors, software applications, and browser tabs concurrently.
  • Maintain vigilance and focus throughout the shift.
  • Escalate technical issues to IT support when necessary.
  • Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and performance expectations.


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with confidence speaking to law enforcement and property managers.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Ability to remain seated and focused for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Ability to successfully complete mandatory training.

Experience in one or more of the following:



  • Call center operations
  • Dispatching or emergency communications
  • Surveillance monitoring
  • Loss prevention
  • Fast-paced operations environments
  • Video gaming or other multi-screen environments requiring quick reactions and multitasking
