Role Profile This role supports the growth of the Industrial Coatings business by identifying new opportunities and executing growth initiatives collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to understand market needs and deliver solutions that create value. This role requires up to 30% travel. Key Accountabilities Growth: Execute market development initiatives and new business opportunities Earnings: Deliver profitable segment growth by converting identified market opportunities into commercial wins through effective partnership with cross-functional teams (sales, product, technical). Marketing Excellence: Provide marketing expertise, conversion of market insights into actionable initiatives and strengthen marketing competency Responsibilities Responsible for developing and executing strategic market activation plans to drive growth. Develop and maintain addressable market/application maps Lead cross-functional growth projects from opportunity identification through commercialization and post-launch evaluation using a structured stage gate process Conduct market, customer, and value chain assessments to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new application opportunities. Develop compelling value propositions and create Economic Value Estimates (EVE) that demonstrate the value of Eastman solutions relative to competitive alternatives. Create marketing collateral, customer-facing materials, and training programs to support product launches and growth initiatives. Support lead generation and opportunity development activities to accelerate the conversion of growth initiatives into revenue. Develop and communicate offers in partnership with sales to execute commercial wins Establish a strong external presence through engagement with customers, industry associations, conferences, and key influencers to build market expertise and strengthen Eastman's position in the industry. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred. Coatings expereince preffered 5+ years in marketing, business development, product management, or commercial roles. Demonstrated ability to identify and commercialize growth opportunities in a B2B environment. Strong strategic, analytical, and business acumen with the ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
