About this role

At OTC, a Senior Project Manager leads complex projects while providing direction and support to Project Managers, Project Management Coordinators, Electrical Engineers, and other technical team members. This role is responsible for driving project performance, developing team capabilities, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

What You'll Do:



  • Lead complex projects from planning through completion, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Management Coordinators, Electrical Engineers, and other project team members.
  • Oversee team workload, priorities, and resource allocation to support successful project execution.
  • Monitor project financial performance, schedules, and milestones, proactively addressing risks and variances.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer concerns, technical issues, scheduling conflicts, and project challenges.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, sales, procurement, customers, and vendors to maintain project alignment.
  • Establish and reinforce project management processes, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on project performance, team capacity, risks, and priorities.
  • Lead project closeout and identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.


What You'll Need:



  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience within a general contractor, equipment manufacturer/distributor, or related industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and providing direction to project management or technical teams.
  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, and motors; municipal water/wastewater experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered specifications, plans, and P&IDs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Teams, Project, and Planner.
