Security Officer - Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer Access Driver Monitor in Letart, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support badge access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, verifying credentials, and controlling access to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with access control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues.
• Support operations at a utilities location by helping to deter unauthorized access, maintaining clear communication with personnel, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
