A Clinical Nutrition Manager oversees the planning, delivery, and quality of clinical nutrition services across the organization. They ensure regulatory compliance, manage a team, and develop programs that support patient care outcomes.

Additional Information

  • Location/Dept: This role provides Clinical Nutrition leadership at the Anschutz (Aurora) Campus. This role may also provide Clinical Nutrition leadership at other Denver Metro system of care locations, including North (Broomfield) and South (Highlands Ranch) Campuses.
  • Job Details: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week - eligible for benefits
  • Shift: 830am-5pm Monday-Friday. Please note, this role will be on-site at Anschutz Medical Campus. Will primarily be working days, however, may need to work night/holidays/weekends depending on the department's needs.

Essential Functions
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

1. Manages the daily operations of the department to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines, while utilizing evidence-based practice to develop and maintain these standards.
2. Assures procedures and processes are in place to maximize quality outcomes, service experience, and productivity.
3. Provides leadership and assumes responsibility for resolving escalated, complex, or controversial operational and patient/family issues, making decisions that are inclusive of multiple perspectives and solves underlying problems.
4. Defines and monitors departmental performance metrics, collaborating with Clinical Nutrition leadership to achieve targeted outcomes, maintain high standards for performance and professional development, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Continuously strives to improve clinical, educational, research, and advocacy programs in department; sets and models high performance standards that empower staff to achieve agreed upon outcomes. Encourages clinically based research projects to evaluate practice outcomes and mentor's department team members in creating/evaluating projects.
6. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and actively participates in rounds, forums, and committees to support organizational initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
7. Develops departmental budget recommendations, and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with organizational financial goals.
8. Responsible for people leadership including hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, development, and disciplinary actions, to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
9. Provides direct patient care to maintain clinical competence and enhance understanding of dietitian roles, care processes, and organizational guidelines.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

* EDUCATION - Master's degree
* EXPERIENCE - Five (5) years as registered dietitian. Experience in pediatric nutrition strongly preferred.
* EQUIVALENCY - none
* LISENCURES/CERTIFICATION(S) -CDR certification (Commission on Dietetic Registration). CNSC or CSP preferred.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $90,900.58 to $136,350.88
