Location: Hanover Park, IL

Shifts: 20 hours a week

Pay: $20.50 an hour

Position Overview

As a Security Representative at Insight, you will be a key driver of ourloss-prevention, access control, and investigation initiatives in a warehouse environment. You will collaborate with our security team, operations, and HR to reduce inventory shrinkage, investigate incidents, manage badge/access systems, and support our multi-shift environment.This positionrequires the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, supporting cross-shift coordination and strong individual accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review video surveillance systems to detect and investigate suspicious activity.

  • Conduct inspections of teammates, visitors, and contractorsupon entry and exit.Upholding the integrity of a safe workplace environment and Insight inventory.

  • Manage and process badge/access control systemsincluding badge creation, permissions, audits, and exit/entry monitoring.

  • Conduct risk assessments/safety walks of warehouse zones.

  • Respond to incidents of theft, process breaches; document findings and coordinate with leadership/HR/law enforcement as needed.

  • Assistin training teammates on asset protection protocols, access/badge procedures, and video review requests.

  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all investigations and interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or investigations, ideally in a warehouse, distribution, or high value environment.

  • Military/law enforcement experience preferredbut notrequired.

  • Hands-on experience with video surveillance systems,access control/badge systems, and alarm systems.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Officeand Outlook (with a focus on Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communicationskills:ability to write clear incident reports,andinteracteffectivelywithassociates, leadership, and HR.

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills: ability toreview footage, sift through data/logs, draw conclusions, andfollow through withrecommendedactions.

  • CPR/First aid/bloodbornepathogen certification preferred but notrequired.

Physical Requirements& Environment

  • On-site warehouse environment: ability to stand, walk, climb stairs for an extendedperiod,asrequired.

  • Ability to workinvarying temperatures.

  • May includeextendedperiods ofhigh activity along with periods ofinactivity.
