POSITION OVERVIEW The Director of Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing construction operations within a designated region, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion. This role involves leading multiple projects and teams, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Director will monitor and manage project budgets, maintain high standards of quality and safety, build and maintain strong client relationships, ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency within the region. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Select Officer / Field - Delete Other) Field Work Environment: This position operates in a variety of outdoor settings, including construction sites, which may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions. The role frequently requires working near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment can be loud, and the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. Safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Field Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
