Full Time, Day shift (40 hours) 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Work Location: Johns Hopkins - Surgical Pathology - Weinberg 2242 - 401 N. Broadway - Baltimore, MD 21231 Position Summary:
Education: Graduation from a Master's Program with a Pathologist Assistant Training program and ASCP BOR certified (or ASCP BOR exam eligible) or completion of a Bachelor's degree with a major or minor or equivalent in any of the biological or allied health sciences, and ASCP BOR certified or exam eligible is preferred. (Must meet minimum education requirements for high complexity testing per CLIA). Work Experience: Work requires 5 years of progressive laboratory experience to acquire a foundation of knowledge and familiarity with the scope of laboratory operations. A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred. Licensure/Certifications: Must be a certified Pathologist Assistant (ASCP) or other pathology recognized certification. ***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position. Salary Range: Minimum 54.35/hour - Maximum 95.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
