YOUR OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting Production Engineering General Supervisor opportunity. The general supervisor manages, analyzes, initiates, and controls all phases of fresh pork production for multiple lines which process over 400,000 pounds of products each day in a pork processing facility. This position manages up to six production engineering supervisors and up to 300 employees and coordinating line activities and tasks to complete, improve and maximize product yields and efficiencies, workflow optimization and staffing deployment. Ensures product quality and food safety standards are met as well as maintaining a safe work environment for employees. The production engineering general supervisor will manage all production and engineering activities on the main break, ham, picnic, butt, loin, or belly lines and suspentec operations. The position will work with automation and equipment including automatic butt puller (Morrell), automatic loin puller (FrontMatec), automatic belly trimmer (FrontMatec), automatic rib puller (FrontMatec), and seal machines (Cryovac).
