Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking Logistics Associate II - Salvage for our Warehouse facility in McDonough, GA! This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparing, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Performs data entry to release, moves into location, or adjusts inventory within computer software

  • Addresses departmental paperwork and conducts physical searches of missing products

  • Assists in researching discrepancies in cycle counts

  • Provide daily feedback to process owners with root cause analysis, including login details if available

  • Provide inventory adjustment details to corporate based on qualifying thresholds

  • Reports discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes

  • Works with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications

  • Tracks departmental data and generates applicable reports as needed

  • Adhere to strict regulatory safety and quality standards

  • Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in MS Excel

  • Implementing, conducting, and administering waste training

  • Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes

  • Identifies items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicates with the Supervisor and/or Lead

  • Maintains the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pulls damaged products from bins

  • Follows all safety procedures and policies

  • Follows all warehouse procedures and policies

  • Disposition of damaged products, scrap products, and hazardous products that will be shipped to our waste provider

Position Details:

  • Location: McDonough, GA - Warehouse

  • Work Week & Shift: 1st shift - Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm

  • Compensation: $24.00 per hour with some OT required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 1 year of previous Raymond stand-up forklift operating experience

  • Accurate record keeping of hazardous waste purposes

  • 2 years of previous plant or warehouse experience shipping/receiving

  • 1 year of working knowledge of inventory systems, SAP, WMS and MS Programs or ERP Systems

  • Experience with USDOT regulations related to shipping hazardous materials

  • Experienced with Hazard Inventory Control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • RCRA Certification and Hazwoper certification

  • Emergency Response Team

  • Strong Chemical knowledge

  • Strong Safety knowledge

  • Experienced with emergency spills

  • Working knowledge of RCRA (Resources Conservation Recovery Act)

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Strong oral and communication

  • Ability to be detail oriented

  • Ability to work independently or in a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $22.70 - $34.05. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
