SUMMARY OF POSITION

Coordinates all LTL shipments with responsibility for ensuring count, product accuracy and proper packaging according to Customer & Pro Tapes specifications.

Essential Functions



  • Double check on counts and product accuracy on all LTL orders picked prior to stretch wrapping.
  • Verifies any accounts with regards to special packaging needs and requirements maintaining expectations.
  • Palletizes all LTL shipments according to Customer and Pro Tapes specifications.
  • Coordinates all trucks, drivers and reorganizes freight as needed.
  • Acting backup for Receiving after hours.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Must be able to conduct oneself in a professional manner and cooperates with fellow employees and supervisors.
  • Assist with labeling of orders.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or equivalency degree.
  • At least 2+ years experience in warehouse and familiarity with inventory control system.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Ability to interact effectively with warehouse and accounting personnel as required.


Knowledge, skills and abilities




  • Must have the ability to read, interpret work orders, picking tickets for processing.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.



Working conditions




  • Work performed in a Warehouse Manufacturing/Distribution Plant environment.
  • Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.

Must conduct oneself in a professional manor, have a positive work ethic, demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment, learn to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, be well organized, take initiative be flexible, work well under pressure and produce accurate and timely work.



Physical Requirements




  • Light to moderate physical effort required.
  • Ability to lift or maneuver box in excess of 40+lbs.
  • Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.
