Overview

NaphCare is hiring a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Coordinator Director (RN) to join our team of medical professionals in Las Vegas, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Clark County Detention Ceneter.

The Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Coordinator Director provides leadership and oversight for all MAT program operations, working in close collaboration with the Facility/Health Services Administrator and Medical Director. This role is responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team-including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, licensed substance use counselors, and discharge planning professionals-to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.



Responsibilities

The MAT Coordinator Director leads day-to-day program management, including staff development, training, scheduling, and clinical practice oversight. This position ensures all services meet contract requirements and adhere to established standards, including NCCHC, ACA, and recognized opioid treatment program guidelines.

A key focus of this role is fostering a culture of excellence through the integration of evidence-based practices and continuous improvement. The MAT Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing treatment outcomes, supporting team performance, and ensuring the effective delivery of comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals in recovery.



Qualifications

    Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within NV.
  • Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Five years' experience as an RN with at least one year of experience in the field of substance abuse
  • Knowledge of nursing practice principles and techniques, occupational health and safety standards, infectious disease management, applicable health care laws, regulations, and procedures for direct health care services.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Capabilities:

Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
