Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity at the location, reporting suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or other property concerns according to post orders.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence, following assigned patrol routes, and assisting with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
