Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Gerrit, GitHub repositories, branching strategies, permissions, and workflow governance.

  • Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, tests, signing, and deployment workflows.

  • Integrate AIAgent-based automation for code validation, compliance checks, precommit analysis, and operational troubleshooting.

  • Implement configuration management best practices across environments, ensuring traceability, reproducibility, and audit readiness.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and release engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of build and release processes.

  • Monitor pipeline health, resolve build failures, and drive continuous improvements in reliability and performance.

  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tooling.

  • Support migration, modernization, and workflow transformation initiatives as the organization evolves from legacy systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong handson experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and repository governance.

  • Solid background in CI/CD pipelines, build orchestration, and automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Groovy, Python, Bash).

  • Experience integrating or working with AIAgents for developer workflow acceleration.

  • Deep understanding of configuration management principles, artifact versioning, and release workflows.

  • Familiarity with cloudbased build infrastructure and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes a plus).

  • Strong debugging, problemsolving, and crossteam communication skills.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, or developer platform roles
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and repository governance
  • Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, or Groovy)
  • Experience with Jenkins or similar build orchestration tools
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Version control and branching strategies
    • Configuration management and release processes
    • Artifact repositories and versioning
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate across engineering, QA, and operations teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating or leveraging AI/ML or AI-agent tools to optimize developer workflows
  • Experience migrating from Gerrit/Jenkins ecosystems to GitHub-based platforms
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized build and deployment environments
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for build infrastructure
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices, including:
    • Code scanning (SAST/DAST)
    • Dependency management and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments supporting complex release cycles
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks and audit-ready DevOps practices
  • Experience optimizing pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Contributions to developer platform modernization or transformation initiatives

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $150k - 190K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
