Job Title: Epic EHR Builder/Analyst (Certified) - Specialty

Project Duration: 6 months

Location: 100% Remote (Part time - 20 hours/week)


Role Overview

We are seeking a Certified Epic Optime Architect with deep surgical supply chain and ERP integration experience to support Oracle Fusion ERP to Epic EHR integrations. This role focuses on surgical item master synchronization and Optime build optimization in a complex, multi?stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi?faceted team (ERP, supply chain, IT, Epic, and facility stakeholders) supporting ERP EHR integrations.
  • Lead Epic Optime build and configuration to support surgical supply item master integration.
  • Translate ERP item master, locations, and inventory structures into appropriate Epic Optime build.
  • Participate in application integration testing, workflow validation, and issue resolution.
  • Document and develop application requirements based on business and operational needs.
  • Evaluate Epic application updates and coordinate planning for installations and changes.
  • Support synchronization efforts to ensure accurate, reliable data flow between ERP and Epic.


Top Skills & Qualifications (Required)

  • Epic Optime Certification (Required - proof of certification required at submission)
  • Epic Optime Architect with 5+ years of Optime experience
  • Surgical Item Master experience within Epic Optime
  • Experience supporting ERP integrations, specifically item master synchronization
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Inventory & supply build
  • Master data management
  • Locations and locators
  • Manufacturers and surgical supply workflows
  • Experience participating in application integration testing
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills


Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Epic Rover experience
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) for project documentation
  • Ability to schedule and pick for surgery cases to send item usage to ERP
  • Epic Bridges experience


Education

  • Bachelor's degree required


Work Details

  • 20 hours/week, flexible based on project needs (business hours only)
  • Workload may fluctuate based on testing and implementation phases
  • Fully remote - Initial 6 months engagement with potential extension


Epic Certifications:

  • Steps to Generate Certification Report in Epic UserWeb:

    1. Log in to Epic UserWeb

    2. Navigate to Training Home Page

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page

    4. Select "Your Completed Certificates and Badges"

    5. Review certification list and status

    6. Click Print to generate the report


The submitted report must include:

  • Candidate name
  • Certification name(s)
  • Certification status (Active/Expired)
  • Certificate number (required for validation)
  • Completion and/or last CEE date (if applicable)


The following will not be accepted:

  • Screenshots of badges only
  • Resume-listed certifications without documentation
  • Expired certifications (unless explicitly approved)
  • Third-party verification reports


Submission Instructions:
