Description

Join the team that is a leader in engineering, designing and manufacturing of leading-edge military expeditionary products and rugged industrial/commercial products since 1937.

The primary function of this position is to support the fabrication operation by moving material to and from the work cells. Maintaining inventory, loading/unloading trucks and completing material data transactions on the computer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Performs stock picking, cycle counting, and point of use stocking tasks using manual and motorized material handling equipment including tow motors and pallet jacks
  • Performs material data transactions on computer terminal
  • Able to look-up and investigate transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ability to clock/claim work orders as they are completed
  • Follows visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned


Education/Experience/Skills:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years industry experience preferred
  • Ability to operate tow motor, standup picker and other equipment as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours at a time
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
