*QA/QC Supervisor - Structured Cabling & Low Voltage* *Location:* Data Center Environment
*Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (5-8 hour shifts) *Travel:* Required as needed to support multiple project sites We are seeking an experienced *QA/QC Supervisor* to serve as the quality authority for structured cabling and lowvoltage projects across data center, commercial, and AV environments. This role is focused entirely on *auditing, compliance, and quality oversight*-not installation work. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to evaluate work objectively while partnering with field teams to uphold high standards. *Key Responsibilities* *Quality Audits & Compliance* * Perform formal QA/QC audits on active and completed projects. * Inspect telecom and lowvoltage installations for proper labeling, testing, documentation, and adherence to standards. * Audit work against company, industry, manufacturer, and code requirements. * Identify nonconformities, risks, and areas for improvement. * Maintain accurate, organized records of all inspections and followups. *Corrective & Preventive Actions* * Report deviations from quality standards to QA/QC leadership and site supervisors. * Prepare clear audit reports with corrective actions and recommendations. * Partner with field leadership to develop and track corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA). * Conduct followup audits to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions. * Identify recurring issues and recommend longterm quality improvements. *Process Support & Field Presence* * Support the development and refinement of QA/QC processes, checklists, and standards. * Participate in onboarding, joint site walkthroughs, and field coaching. * Stay current on industry changes, manufacturer updates, and code revisions. * Maintain a strong, professional presence across project sites. *Qualifications* * 4+ years of QA/QC experience in structured cabling or lowvoltage systems. * Proven experience auditing completed installations (not performing installs). * Strong understanding of structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber). * Knowledge of lowvoltage telecom infrastructure, ISP/OSP practices, and installation standards. * Ability to evaluate work objectively and enforce standards professionally. * Strong analytical, problemsolving, and documentation skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Highly organized, detailoriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. * Independent, selfdirected, and adaptable across different project types. * Preferred: LMS experience, QA/QC training or content development, knowledge of adult learning concepts. *Work Environment* * Primary work performed inside a data center. * Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime (sometimes required). * May support additional sites depending on project needs. *What We're Looking For* We are seeking someone who *thinks like an auditor, not an installer*-a professional who knows what "right" looks like, can spot issues quickly, and communicates findings clearly and constructively.
