Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Driver Screening Agent in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener in a retail location, you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and perform routine patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity, reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Screen visitors, team members, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, common areas, and perimeter as directed, noting unusual activity and documenting observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
