As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Hope Mills, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, helping support a secure environment through routine patrols, a visible presence, and strong customer service. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate with professionalism, and work as part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and associate activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control and closing procedures as assigned, including monitoring designated areas, checking authorized entry points, and/or assisting with crowd and queue management during busy periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
