SummaryPerforms the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.Recommend solutions to technical problems. Coach and train other operators on testing techniques to improve individual and team performance. Becomes subject matter expert in Detector testing and problem solving including: Common Failures Uncommon Failures Checking Equipment Mes/SAP TQC co-workers Job Description Experience Level with Business Tools Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Typical Education and Experience High School Degree or equivalent 0 - 1 year of experience ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. Medium to Heavy work that will frequentlyrequire employees to lift/move up to 10 lbs. and occasionallylift more than 20 lbs. to greater than 45 lbs. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies Frequently. Reaching, (above, below, or above and below) the shoulder occasionally. Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools occasionally. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities. Work environments include repetitive hand motion, sitting and working at a computer station for extended periods of time.
