Talent Acquisition Manager

The Role:

AMD is growing rapidly and is adding a Manager to its world-class Talent Acquisition organization. This role will lead the recruitment function for a defined AMD client group.

As a strategic business partner, you will develop, lead, and implement hiring initiatives to meet recruitment goals and targets. The role provides direct support to North America, Latin America, and EMEA. You will deliver expertise through consultation, planning, execution, and continuous improvement.

The Person:

He/she will innovate in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment. This exciting opportunity is a hands-on role, which requires significant project management and proven execution skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business challenges and align recruiting efforts with the workforce plan
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization to establish successful partnerships and credibility
  • Strengthen AMD's employment brand to attract the highest quality talent
  • Execute executive-level recruiting for assigned client groups
  • Partner with internal Centers of Excellence (COEs) - including HR Business Partners, Compensation, Immigration, Global Trade, and Background Investigation - to lead supporting processes
  • Proactively review and refine processes to improve efficiency for recruiters and hiring managers, ensure consistency, deliver a positive candidate experience, and maintain regional compliance
  • Lead talent acquisition projects related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
  • Leverage recruiting technology to enhance results, enable scalability, deliver timely information, and ensure consistency
  • Deliver reporting and metrics to demonstrate recruiting outcomes

Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting within the technology industry or another dynamic, fast-paced environment where talent is a competitive advantage
  • Recruiting training or certifications strongly preferred
  • Strong client-facing skills with a proven ability to build long-term relationships
  • Experience building and leading high-performing recruiting teams across multiple locations
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies for identifying and delivering top talent
  • Exceptional knowledge of sourcing strategies and execution
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, demonstrate initiative, deliver results, and maintain a strong service focus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate the company vision and talent strategy
  • Ability to inspire, empower, and provide clear direction
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
  • Excellent interviewing skills and practices

Academic Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
