Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal in a residential location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and complete routine patrols as a driving post. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and strong customer service. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, and integrity, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to support residents and guests every day.

Position Type: Full Time - Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and community policies at a residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property.
  • Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting community contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and other required documentation related to access activity, deliveries, and/or security-related incidents.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, common areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
