Coordinate and/ or perform general maintenance and repair on buildings, facilities and grounds. Duties include light carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, buildings and grounds maintenance and assisting with internal moves and space management.

  • Gain familiarity with Facilities Maintenance concepts, practices and methods.
  • Perform complex repairs on equipment and facilities grounds.
  • Basic maintenance duties including furniture moves, basic electrical and plumbing projects, painting, light construction and cleanup, assist with setups for events, lot repair (asphalt patching, sign repair) and light janitorial work.
  • Repair or replace doors and locks.
  • Respond to customer requests for building and/or equipment improvements.
  • Routinely inspect facilities and grounds for hazards and identify needed improvements.
  • Resolve issues where possible and escalate new or complex issues to higher level.
  • Documenting of actions and daily work assignments.
  • Complies with the company's Facilities Maintenance standards and policies.
  • Assists with projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • OR 5 years' experience in a related field
  • Skill and knowledge to perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs required.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Good communication and organizational skills required.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


USD 22.02 - 33.08 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
