Job Title: Scheduler Job Description As a Scheduler, you will support sr scheduling staff and project teams with time management and control. Your role involves developing and updating both summary level and detailed schedules, identifying major milestones, critical approvals, and long lead procurement items. You will also determine reasonable schedule logic and constraints, and develop realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower. Responsibilities * Support sr scheduling staff, project team, and stakeholders with time management and control. * Develop and update summary level as well as detailed schedules. * Create lists of design, procurement, construction, and post-construction activities. * Identify major milestones, critical approvals, and long lead procurement items. * Determine schedule logic and constraints in consultation with task owners and teams. * Develop realistic activity durations based on discussions with task owners and available manpower. * Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor. Essential Skills * Proficiency in Primavera, particularly Primavera P6. * Excellent computer skills. * Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. * Minimum of two years of relevant experience. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good decision-making abilities. * Effective communication skills. * Understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations. * Strong understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit. * Competency in using Information Technology, including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
