Position Summary Location: Parker Aerospace Group - DSD-Irvine, CA Mechanical Assembler 2 - Fans, Pumps and Compressors - Motor WindingPosition Summary: The Mechanical Assembler 2 candidate should have 2 to 6 years of related electronics assembly experience. On a production basis, the employee will perform various coil winding, stator sub-assemblies as well as full stator assembly on various product lines. These tasks are generally done by hand using specific tooling to reduce the risk of damage. You will need to make simple decisions but must follow established precedents. Works well under general supervision and has some responsibility for work output. Good understanding of products and processes. Able to troubleshoot stator assembly issues with support from supervision & able to work on a variety of tasks when needed. Responsibilities: Good understanding of coil winding, insertion of coils into stator stacks and making connections and basic assembly techniques.
