Overview Come build the platform that powers Microsoft's partner ecosystem. In the Partner Center team, a core part of Microsoft's Commercial Engineering & AI division, you'll help deliver the foundational services and experiences that enable partners build, publish, sell, and grow with Microsoft and help customers discover and deploy 1P/3P solutions. You'll leverage GitHub Copilot, and the latest generative AI models as you work across APIs, big data, services, and user experiences that operate at global scale making it simpler, more secure, and more intelligent for partners and sellers to do business with Microsoft. You will join the engineering team responsible for architecting and operating the full spectrum of partner and seller commerce experiences from transaction flows and customer onboarding to pricing intelligence, catalog management, billing and earnings reconciliation. Success in this role means you will take ownership of feature areas, drive innovation with the latest AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Studio, and GitHub Copilot and deliver solutions that scale. Responsibilities Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features. Contributes to the identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product area with little oversight. Creates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable. Contributes to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation. Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems. Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs): Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python ORBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 1+years' experiencewith AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and large language models (LLMs) such as GPT or Claude Sonnet. 1+years' experiencein designing, developing, and shipping software solutions on a Cloud services platform (e.g.Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). 1+years' experiencebuilding and working with scalable Web Services, REST APIs with NoSQL and/or SQL based backend data store. #Microsoft's Commercial Engineering #AI Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
